Our Story

Since 2017 Pyopa provides customers with consulting and engineering services which enable them to master the challenges of an ever-changing digital landscape. Since its inception Pyopa focuses strongly on cyber defence "detect and respond". Since this cannot be seen as an isolated discipline, Pyopa also provides consulting and engineering services for preventive IT security and general IT management.

With our services you can benefit from our many years of experience in various technical and managerial roles in IT. We have worked as engineers, architects, consultants, security analysts, incident responders and managers for Swiss SMEs as well as large global players in many different sectors such as banking, IT outsourcing, pharmaceutical industry, health care, energy, government, retail, logistics and manufacturing.​​

Our consulting and engineering is based on our own first-hand experience from working in the fields and roles we advise for. This experience can take us a long way. Should you and we decide that it would be beneficial to explore uncharted territory we have the methods in place to ensure risks stay in check and intended results are delivered.

Implementation is imperative to any service we provide, so expect to get actionable, well-structured and thought through advice, concepts or plans. We bring profound knowledge of methods, frameworks and practices, e.g. agile methods, ITIL®, ISO®, NIST®, MITRE ATT&CK® into our work.

We keep up with technology and tradecraft through independent trainings (e.g. SANS®) and visits to national and international events (Blackhat®, Area41, BSides®, etc.). To contribute to the community, we do workshops and lecture at educational institutions.
